Blue Lion Rule (Japanese: 蒼き獅子王 King of the Blue Lions) is a passive type B skill which debuted in Fire Emblem Heroes; unlike most passive skills in Heroes, Blue Lion Rule comes in only one tier. Units with Blue Lion Rule reduce damage dealt by both attacks and area-of-effect special skills (excluding those associated with Røkkr Sieges) based on how much higher the user's Defense is than the target's, with the user also making a guaranteed follow-up strike should the target initiate the combat when activating the initial effect.
