Trivia

  • This class's ability to wield yumi is taken from how miko traditionally carry a sacred hama-yumi (literally, "evil-destroying bow") and a set of matching arrows as part of their regalia for shrine duties. Historically, miko would use their hama-yumi in active combat to defend their shrines.
  • The Priestess is one of only two explicitly female-only Hoshido classes, the other being the Shrine Maiden.
  • Despite appearing with a cape and a pauldron in artwork and sprite depictions, generic priestesses lack them on their models in-game.
