Prologue III/Script
Marth and his entourage take a moment to rest after escaping the castle. Cain confirms that King Cornelius was killed in Gra, and reveals that Falchion was stolen and their troops massacred. Cornelius's last request was for Marth to take up his sword, save Archanea, and lead Altea to prosperity. Marth and Cain, the latter of whom is suffering from survivor's guilt, vow to exact revenge on Dolhr and particularly Gra.
After defeating a regiment of Gra troops stationed outside the castle, Malledus arrives. When he reveals that Elice is remaining in Altea, Marth attempts to return to the castle to rescue her, but Malledus stops him. He reminds Marth that he is the sole hope for Archanea and that he must live to return and reclaim his nation. Marth begrudgingly relents.

Strategy
This section details unofficial strategies that may help with completion of the chapter. This may not work for everybody. |
New Units:
- Cain: A reliable Cavalier. His poor lance rank hurts him less on Normal due to lower enemy quality.
- Jagen: A Paladin. Despite his poor growths, his solid base stats and weapon proficiency make him valuable, especially in Normal difficulty due to the less challenging enemies.
Map Features:
- Houses offer gameplay tips beneficial for beginners. Experienced players can skip them.
Strategy:
- The challenge level increases in this chapter. Being too aggressive can lead to your units' defeats, especially from the potent Mages near the end.
- Engage enemies individually when possible for a smoother experience.
- Refrain from giving kill shots to the unit you plan to use as the Decoy in Prologue IV.
