“ | I am Marth, Prince of Altea. You must be with the Order of Heroes I've heard about. Princess Veronica told us about you. And I assume you know all about the contract that binds us to her? Heroes of a conquered world must obey their conqueror. But if you show us that you're more powerful than our conqueror, that will break the contract. | ” | — Marth |

World of Mystery/Script
The commander of the Order of Heroes, Anna, receives word that the Emblian Empire has taken control of the World of Mystery, and begun ordering its Heroes, including the Hero-King Marth, to fight their battle against Askr. Alfonse says that an attack on Askr by the legendary Marth would be devastating, but Sharena is less concerned, as the Order has its own legendary figure on its side.
The Order travels to the World of Mystery, where they are confronted by Marth, Caeda, and Jagen. Marth explains that the only way for the Order to break the contract that ties him and his fellow Heroes of Mystery to Veronica is to defeat them in battle, and prove that they are stronger than the Emblian army who previously conquered them. The Order defeats Marth, but their efforts are not yet enough.
The Order is next challenged by armies led by Ogma, Merric, Linde, Cain, Abel, and Gordin. They successfully fight their way through these challenges, eventually facing off against Marth once more. The Order defeats Marth again, this time finally freeing him and the World of Mystery from Veronica's contract. Marth thanks the Order for freeing him, and departs. After the battle ends, however, Veronica shows up, and threatens the Order with death once more, stating that she has far stronger Heroes than Marth under her control. Anna orders the army to retreat, and prepare for the battles to come.
