Defense/Resistance Finish (Japanese: 守備魔防の秘奥 Defense/Magic defense mystery) is a four-tiered passive type A skill which debuted in Fire Emblem Heroes; the individual tiers of the skill are Def/Res Finish 1, Def/Res Finish 2, Def/Res Finish 3, and Def/Res Finish 4 in order from lowest to highest. If there are allies near the user, Defense/Resistance Finish boosts their defense and resistance during combat and boosts the user's damage when their special skill activates; the defense, resistance, and damage boosts increase with the skill's tier, and the fourth tier also slightly heals the user after combat.
