Duke Knight (Japanese: デュークナイト Duke Knight) is an advanced cavalry class which was introduced in Fire Emblem: Genealogy of the Holy War. Appearing only in Genealogy and Thracia 776, it is the class-changed form of the basic Lance Knight class, and is the lance-wielding counterpart to the Ranger, Great Knight and Bow Knight. It is absent in Radiant Dawn, which replaces it with the functionally identical Lance Paladin.

The stats of Duke Knights are similar to those of their counterparts, with formidable strength and good skill and speed, although they tend to have have the lowest skill and speed of the four weapon-locked mounted classes. Duke Knights tend to be very sturdy, in spite of their weak resistance, with good HP and defense. Their greatest advantage is their high movement, as is traditional for mounted units, and their access to Canto. In Thracia 776, Duke Knights are forced to dismount to enter buildings or participate in chapters set entirely indoors, and when dismounted they are forced to use swords. Owing to their lower base weapon level with swords, this is a significant handicap.
