Warding Stance (Japanese: 明鏡の構え Clear Mirror Stance) is a four-tiered passive type A skill which debuted in Fire Emblem Heroes; the individual tiers of the skill are known as Warding Stance 1, Warding Stance 2, Warding Stance 3, and Warding Stance 4 in order from lowest to highest. Units with a Warding Stance skill boost their Resistance during combat whenever its user is attacked; the size of the Resistance boost is affected by the skill's tier, and the fourth tier gains an effect that decelerates the foe's special skill cooldown for each strike.
