Warding Blow (Japanese: 明鏡の一撃 Mirror Strike) is a skill which debuted in Fire Emblem Fates. In Fates, it is a class skill associated with pegasus-mounted classes; in Heroes, it is a three-tiered type A passive skill (whose individiual tiers are known as Warding Blow 1, Warding Blow 2, and Warding Blow 3 in order from lowest to highest). Warding Blow is a skill decreases the damage the user takes from a magical attack whenever the user initiates the battle; in Heroes, the size of the protection increases with the skill's tier.
