The Master Seal, known as the Master Proof (マスタープルフ, Masutaa Purufu) in Japan, is a promotion item that allows units of level ten or higher to promote to the next class if allowed. It cannot be used on pirates or thieves, which require Ocean Seals and Fell Contracts, respectively.
Another item called the Earth Seal can be used for the same purpose in the games in which it appears.
