Staves are a category of magical weapons found in the Fire Emblem series. Staves cannot be used to attack, though in Fire Emblem: Radiant Dawn they can retaliate an attack, though still doing no damage. First-tier classes that can use staves are known as healers. Most second- and third-tier classes that are magic-based can use staves.
