Pherae

Pherae is one of the marches of Lycia in Fire Emblem: Fuuin no Tsurugi and Fire Emblem: Blazing Sword. Located in the east side of Lycia, near the border with Bern, it is one of the most known marches.
According to Blazing Sword, it has been in peace for a long time. Pherae is shown to maintain a good relationship with the other members of the Lycian League, especially Ostia and Santaruz.
As seen in the maps, Pherae's landscape mostly features grass and some forests; it is also near to the sea and has some mountains at the east.
Most of the characters who come from this march use swords, lances or bows, as they are part of the Pheraen army. The notable exceptions are Eleanora, who is pictured as a bishop in-game, and Dan, whose class is unknown.
Known rulers of Pherae are Elbert in Blazing Sword, Eliwood in Fuuin no Tsurugi, and Roy, after the events of Fuuin no Tsurugi.

| English | Pherae | Pherae was an ancient Greek town in Thessaly. In mythology, its king, Admetus, was told by the god Apollo that he would soon pass away; the only way to prevent his death was to find someone to replace him. The only person willing to do such was Admetus' wife, Alcestis. However, when Thanatos came for her, Heracles (or in another version, the goddess Kore) managed to save her by wrestling Thanatos itself.[1] |
